Cool off this summer at a Lake Mac Swim Centre

The temperature is rising and there is no better way to cool off than with a refreshing swim at one of our Lake Mac Swim Centres. With six swim centres across the City, offering indoor and outdoor pools you are sure to enjoy a family day out at one of our facilities.
Charlestown Swim Centre, located at Dickinson Street, has a 50m and 25m outdoor pool, as well as a fenced toddler splash pad and smaller learn to swim pool. The centre features a kiosk with barista made coffee, free barbecue facilities and accessible change room, shower and toilets. Head along to the centre on Friday 20 and Wednesday 25 January between 11am-1pm, to take on the aquatic challenger or you can visit any time Monday to Friday between 5.30am-7pm, Saturdays 6am-6pm and Sundays 7am-6pm to enjoy a relaxing swim.
Located in Kahibah Street, Morisset Swim Centre, features an outdoor 25m pool and an outdoor 15m learn to swim pool, as well as a wading pool. The facility, which has a kiosk and accessible change room, shower and toilet, is open Monday to Thursday 6am-6.30pm, Friday 6am-6pm and on weekends from 7am-5pm.
Across the way from our most popular park, Speers Point Park, you will find Speers Point Swim Centre. With its 50m and 25m outdoor pools, as well as a toddler play area it is a great place to cool off after spending the day at the Lake Macquarie Variety Playground. The facility also features a kiosk, free barbecue facilities and accessible change room, shower and toilets.
A swim centre with a view, Swansea Swim Centre located at Channel Street, offers you the opportunity to take in stunning lake views while lapping our outdoor heated 50m pool or while splashing in the toddler wet play area with your little one. Swansea also features a 15m outdoor heated learn to swim pool, as well as a kiosk, free barbecue facilities, hire tubes and boogie boards, and accessible change room, showers and toilets. Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5am-7pm or 5am-6.30pm Tuesdays, 6am-5pm on Saturdays or 7am-5pm on Sundays, Swansea Swim Centre is a fun way to cool off this summer.
One of Lake Mac’s indoor swim centres, Toronto Swim Centre, located at the corner of Awaba Road and Carleton Street, features a heated 25m pool, 16m learn to swim pool, hydrotherapy pool and spa pool, as well as kiosk and accessible change room, shower and toilet. The centre is open Monday to Thursday, 5am-8pm, Friday 5am-6pm and on weekends from 8am-4pm.
The recently refurbished West Wallsend Swim Centre, located in Edden Street, features an indoor heated 25m pool, kiosk, free barbecue facilities, program room for birthday parties, and accessible change room shower and toilet. The centre is open Monday to Thursday 5.30am-8pm, Fridays 5.30am-7pm and weekends from 7am-6pm.
