Hunter fashionistas will be able to pick up a bargain at this year’s Living Smart Festival, with eco-fashion event, Raid My Wardrobe, joining the festival line-up for the first time.
Council’s Manager Sustainability, Alice Howe, said the Raid My Wardrobe pop-up would feature an exclusive collection of 14 pre-loved fashion stalls for shoppers to choose from.
“Raid My Wardrobe has a huge following across the Hunter region, and it demonstrates a real commitment to reducing waste through recycling, making this event a perfect addition to the Living Smart Festival line-up,” Dr Howe said.
“Past Raid My Wardrobe events have featured near-new designer pieces from the likes of Guanabana, Lisa Ho, Sass and Bide, Alannah Hill, Witchery, Oroton, Mimco and more. The pop-up event will include a nice mix of vintage, retro and high-end labels, so if you’ve got a passion for pre-loved fashion, make sure you’re at the festival to grab yourself a bargain.”
The Raid My Wardrobe pop-up market will be in the Heritage Shed at this year’s Living Smart Festival from 9am-2pm on Saturday 23 September in Speers Point Park. Clothes, shoes and bags will be available for sale, with clothing ranging from size 6 to size 24.
