What is a lodgement interview
Lake Macquarie City Council's lodgement interview service is required for the lodgement of all medium and major application types.
The lodgement interview will afford the applicant a defined time to lodge an application. The interview time will generally be one hour.
What happens at a lodgement interview
Using your development planning checklist, a Council Officer will assess the completeness of your application to ensure you have provided the following:
- all required plans
- a Statement of Environmental Effects
- all required specialist reports
- owners consent
- required fees (including integrated referral cheques) - obtain a fee estimate by contacting our Customer Service Centre on 02 4921 0333
Should the Council Officer consider your application to be incomplete, the application will not be lodged and you will be provided with a list of outstanding information that you must address prior to lodgement.
How do I book a lodgement interview
Contact our Development Assessment and Compliance Department on 02 4921 0685 between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday to organise a lodgement and/or a subsequent lodgement interview.
