Transport and road infrastructure
Council is responsible for the provision of new infrastructure and maintenance of our City roads including:
- sealing of roads
- kerb and guttering
- drains and footpaths
- shared pathways
- traffic facilities (through Council's Traffic Facilities and Road Safety Committee)
- infrastructure for public transport services.
General infrastructure works
Civilake is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the City's infrastructure.
Sealing of gravel roads
Council has scheduled planning in place for sealing gravel roads in Lake Macquarie.
