Positioned in the Swansea Centre, the library is located in a joint facility with the SEEN@Swansea exhibition space. Swansea Library has an open plan design, providing a relaxing environment to meet people’s needs.

Swansea Library offers four meeting rooms of varying sizes catering up to 120 people. Some rooms have access to a commercial kitchen (fee applies). All rooms are available to be viewed. To make an appointment or booking, please contact the Swansea Centre.

 Meeting room amenities include:

  • electronic whiteboard
  • data projection unit is available for hire
  • screen
  • BenQ interactive display
  • chairs and tables

About Swansea Library, kariyawangba

The word kariyawangba means “southwards” in Awabakal and refers Swansea as the southernmost point of Lake Macquarie. kariyawangba is also the cultural name given to Swansea Library.
