Rathmines Theatre is perfect for performances and productions such as live music, theatre, dance, community events and festivals. Its lakeside location, charismatic bar space and commercial-standard kitchen also make it a unique and memorable location for weddings or private functions.

About Rathmines Theatre, nawayiba

The word nawayiba means “canoe place” in Awabakal and refers to the scar trees left behind by Aboriginal people making canoes. nawayiba is also the cultural name given to Rathmines Theatre.
