Step 1.Important information to know

When booking our centre, you must comply with the centre's hiring guidelines.

Step 2.Gather your information

If you wish to book your event, you must provide the following as part of the application:

  • A brief description about your event
  • How you will minimise waste at your event
  • Evidence of your not-for-profit status, for example ACNC registration or governing documentation, if applicable
  • Evidence of adequate public liability insurance for $20,000,000, if applicable

Your insurance broker will be able to provide a 'Certificate of Currency', which you should list Lake Macquarie City Council under 'Interested Party' with regard to the event, provide an expiry date and the amount of the public liability coverage.

Step 3.Apply

Once you have gathered your information, you can apply online. You'll need to upload electronic versions of the required documentation in order to complete your application.

Fees will be calculated by Council staff and provided to you in writing after we've received your application to book the centre.
