An application to access community land needs to be submitted when vehicles are required to cross community land to access privately owned property for any of the following purposes:
Approval to access community land for restricted purposes is made under the Community Land Management provisions of the Local Government Act 1993.
If you are planning to access community land, you will be required to submit a Certificate of Currency policy with a minimum $20 million coverage prior to access. Lake Macquarie City Council will need to be noted as an interested party on the certificate. You will need to submit this document with your application.

Fees will be calculated by Council staff and provided to you in writing after we have received your application.
