No longer on display. Expired on 27 October 2022, 11:59 PM

Council is reviewing its Local Approvals Policy (LAP). The LAP describes activities which requires an approval from Council. The policy includes low impact activities like outdoor dining, placement of street stalls and performance on public land, and water, sewerage and drainage works.

The proposed changes to the LAP relate to footway trading, the temporary occupation of land during the construction of a dwelling, street stalls, mobile vending and events on Council land. These changes have have been identified as requiring controls or improvement to existing controls to make it easier and clearer for people wanting to undertake this type of low impact activity.
