Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.

A million-dollar upgrade to the historic Toronto Baths has been delivered, with the facility now fully enclosed and more accessible.
Lake Macquarie Mayor Adam Shultz cut the ribbon on the $1.4 million revamp alongside Member for Lake Macquarie Greg Piper and NSW Government representative Emily Suvaal MLC on Wednesday 30 October 2024.
Upgrades include a new accessibility ramp into the water, new jetty decking and netting around the baths.
The works form part of Council’s Toronto Foreshore Revitalisation project, transforming the area into an attractive and vibrant recreational destination.
