Community Environment Grants The Lake Mac Community Environment Grants Program is designed to support community-initiated projects that improve our local environment and inspire environmentally sustainable behaviour in Lake Macquarie City.
Environmental Research Grants The Lake Macquarie Environmental Research Grants Program is designed to support projects that will assist Council and other environmental managers to develop appropriate land-use practices, plan remedial and preventative works and adjust management strategies.
Local Heritage Places Fund Owners of heritage-listed properties in Lake Macquarie are invited to apply for annual small grants, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, to assist with the maintenance of their properties.
Youth Week Grants The Youth Week Grants Program is designed for young people to express their ideas and views, act on issues that affect their lives, and create and enjoy activities and events.
Lead Mitigation Grants The Lead Mitigation Grant Program provides funding to eligible North Lake Macquarie residents who have been adversely impacted by lead contamination resulting from the former Pasminco Cockle Creek Smelter.
NAIDOC Week events funding Not-for-profit organisations and schools may be eligible to apply for funds to implement a hands-on cultural project or event to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
Donations Not-for-profit groups and organisations that have significant local membership or participation, and/or are undertaking a project that shows significant local benefits, may be eligible for a donation from Council.
