The pedestrian bridges at Ambleside Park, Lakelands and Scrubby Creek, Mount Hutton will be temporarily closed while we complete maintenance works.
Closures will be in place at the following times:
Edden Street footbridge, West Wallsend (near Gregory Park) has also been closed following damage to the structure. We have assessed the structural integrity of the bridge and investigated options in relation to the repair of the footbridge. A bridge repair and replacement is expected to be completed by the end of August.
