The creek currently migrates north, impacting emergency and public access, damaging drainage infrastructure and eroding the coastal dune.
Realignment will allow for safer beach access by creating a new flow path for the creek.
The emergency access point will be briefly closed during the works. All other access areas will remain open.
Works will begin 24 July 2023, and are expected to take one week to complete.
