What’s open and closed over Christmas and New Year

Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.

Overdue rates – SMS reminders

Have you received a reminder notice on your phone regarding overdue rates?

Council sends these messages to alert ratepayers that rate payments are outstanding.

Interest is payable on overdue rates, and continues to accrue while the debt is outstanding, so it is advisable to pay your rates as soon as you receive a reminder notice.
