The NSW Government is carrying out field investigations at Morisset on and around Mandalong Road from the M1 Pacific Motorway interchange to Ourimbah Street, to prepare for future road improvements.
Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes geotechnical investigations and surveying underground services that will be used to inform the Mandalong Road upgrade project.
They will be working intermittently in the area from Wednesday 8 May for up to six weeks, weather permitting.
Work will be completed between 7am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. Some night work will be required, between 7pm and 5am Monday to Friday.
There will be temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe for motorists and workers.
Shoulder closures will be in place during day work with single lane with traffic control and a 40km/h speed limit in place during night work as required, which may affect travel times.
Please keep to the speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
