Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a heatwave warning for Lake Macquarie, the Hunter region, and other parts of New South Wales. From November 26 to 29, temperatures are expected to reach the low to high thirties, prompting concerns for public health and safety.
