87 Alkrington Avenue, Fishing Point – Dwelling house and swimming pool

Council will consider endorsing a development standard variation providing a maximum height of 11.04m and approving DA/972/2022 for a new dwelling, retaining walls and a swimming pool at 87 Alkrington Avenue, Fishing Point, subject to conditions of consent.

26 Yambo Street, Morisset – Purchase of land

Council will consider purchasing 26 Yambo Street, Morisset, and giving notice of Council’s intent to classify the land as operational upon acquisition.   

Part 11 Skye Point Road, Coal Point – Proposed purchase

Council will consider purchasing part of 11 Skye Point Road, Coal Point.

32 Cowper Avenue, Charlestown – Purchase

Council will consider purchasing 32 Cowper Avenue, Charlestown, and giving notice of Council’s intent to classify the land as operational upon acquisition.

Request for donations

Council will consider approving a donation of $2000 to Hunter Adults Financial Collaborative for the pilot employment program.

Public exhibition of draft Aquatic Facilities Strategy

Council will consider exhibiting the draft Aquatic Facilities Strategy and associated documents and receiving a further report detailing feedback received during exhibition and any proposed changes to the documents.

Adoption of Morisset Showground Plan of Management and Master Plan

Council will consider adopting the Morisset Showground Plan of Management and Master Plan, noting the public exhibition and public hearing submissions and responses, and notifying those who made a submission during the public exhibition period.
