Dwelling house alterations, additions and subdivision at 24 Brown Street, Redhead

Council will consider approving a development application for dwelling house alterations, additions and a two into two lot subdivision at 24 Brown Street, Redhead.

Purchase for road widening – West Wallsend

Council will consider recommending the purchase of part of 247 O’Donnelltown Road, West Wallsend to facilitate road widening for approval at the next Ordinary Council meeting.

Purchase for road widening – Martinsville

Council will consider recommending the purchase of part of 61 and 66 Pointers Road, Martinsville to facilitate road widening for approval at the next Ordinary Council meeting.

The land is required to facilitate bridge replacement works and will be dedicated as public road in accordance with the Roads Act 1993 on completion of the acquisitions.

Council is replacing three bridges in Martinsville to improve safety for motorists and access for emergency services vehicles.

Request for donations

Council will consider recommending the donation of $2000 to Gadibundhu Sober Living to assist with the costs of establishing a new website for approval at the next Ordinary Council meeting.

The new website would provide ongoing support and assistance to people in the community suffering from substance addiction.
