Adoption of planning proposal – 18 Gosford Road, Wyee

Council will discuss endorsing a planning proposal to amend the Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2014, and noting submissions made during public exhibition of the proposal.

36 Macquarie Street and 1 Walter Street, Belmont – Residential flat building and commercial premises

Council will discuss endorsing a development standard variation under clause 4.6 of the Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2014 providing a maximum height of 34.49m, exceeding the 22m development standard by 12.49m or 64 per cent, and approving development application DA/2863/2021 for demolition, residential flat building and commercial premises, subject to conditions of consent.

Rescinding of Council policies following organisation review

Council will discuss rescinding the:

  • Homelessness Policy Commitment – Version 1
  • Priority Access to Performing Arts Centre – Version 5
  • Planning Agreement – Car Parking Deficiencies – Version 2
  • Data Sharing Policy – Version 1.

Adoption of Aquatic Facilities Strategy

Council will discuss adopting the Aquatic Facilities Strategy and its supporting documents, and noting submissions made during public exhibition of the strategy.

Community Environment Grants 2022-2023 Round One funding recommendations

Council will discuss funding five applications for a total of $9,662.96 as part of the Community Environment Grants 2022-2023 Round One.

Adoption of Lake Macquarie Destination Management Plan 2022-2026

Council will discuss adopting the Lake Macquarie Destination Management Plan 2022-2026, and acknowledging submissions made during public exhibition of the plan.
