Voluntary planning agreement for development at Ramsgate Estate, Wyee Point

Council will affix a common seal to the voluntary planning agreement between Council and FTLR Pty Ltd.

Endorsement of draft planning proposal to remove land identified for acquisition in the Belmont contributions catchment

Council endorsed a draft planning proposal to amend the Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plans 2004 and 2014.

Donations request

Council discussed approving donations of $2000 to NSW Justices Association Incorporated Lake Macquarie Branch to support community Justice of the Peace (JP) desks at Edgeworth and Cameron Park, and $2000 to Caves Beach Surf Life Saving Club for outdoor blinds for protection against inclement weather.

Lake Macquarie Mayor Kay Fraser said she was proud that Council could support local not-for-profit organisations through the Donations Program.

“So far this financial year we have donated more than $20,000 to help not-for-profit organisations and groups across Lake Macquarie better serve their community,” Cr Fraser said.

“This funding will make JP services more available to Edgeworth and Cameron Park residents and improve comfort and amenity for beachgoers and surf life saving club members at Caves Beach.”
