Motorists can expect changed traffic conditions on Lake Road, Glendale, from mid-June while Hunter Water carries out work on a water main between Glendale Drive and Glendale Warehouse.
Crews began preparatory works on site late last month, with the bulk of the work to be carried out over about six weeks from mid-June.
While works are underway, southbound lanes on Lake Road will be redirected between Poyner Avenue and Manuel Street. The right-hand turning lane off Lake Road into Glendon Crescent will be temporarily closed and a detour will be in place.
Work will be carried out from 7am-6pm, Monday to Friday, and to 2pm on Saturdays. Some night work may be required.
Please exercise caution when travelling through the area.
