Celebrate International Day of People with Disability on Sunday 3 December at the Homegrown Markets at Speers Point Park.
Hunter Deafblind Connect will run two Auslan signing sessions (11am and 1pm) for those interested in learning Auslan.
Hunter Deafblind Connect will also showcase the tactile art installation, unveiled earlier this year within the Lake Macquarie Variety Playground. The permanent art installation, explored through touch, was inspired by the sea star and Hellen Keller’s poem The Song of The Stone Wall.
