ANZAC Day services and marches in Lake Mac

On Monday 25 April 2022, a number of services and marches will be held across Lake Macquarie City. Please see below for details.

Belmont

A march will commence at 9.45am from High Street, followed by a service at 10am at Cullen Park.

Cardiff

A march will commence from the corner of Macquarie Road and Main Road Cardiff at 4.50am. A dawn service will follow at 5.15am.

Catherine Hill Bay

A dawn service will commence at 6am at Catherine Hill Bay War Memorial on Flowers Drive.

Dora Creek

A 6am Dawn Service will be held at Neville Thompson Oval, with a gunfire breakfast at Dora Creek Workers Club. A march at 9.30am will follow with the main service at Neville Thompson Oval at 10am.

Dudley

A dawn service will commence at 5.30am at Dudley War Memorial on Ocean Street.

Pelican

A march will form on Piriwal Street near Bato street at 5.50am, before a dawn service commences at 6am at RSL Memorial Park.

Speers Point

A march will start at 5.45am at the boat ramp car park at Speers Point Park, before the main dawn service commences at 6am.

Swansea

A 6am dawn service will be held at Swansea RSL Club on Bridge Street with a march to begin at 11am. A service will be held after at Swansea RSL Club.

Teralba

A service will commence at Anzac Park on the corner of Anzac Parade and York Street at 8am.

Toronto

A dawn service will be held at Goffet Park on Brighton Avenue at 6am. At 11am a march will be held at The Boulevarde in front of the Diggers Club. Goffet Park will host a service at 11.30am.

Valentine

A march will start at 10am at Allambee Park, Valentine followed by a service at 10.30am.

Wangi Wangi

A dawn service will commence at the Cenotaph at 5:30am. A march will form at 9am, with vehicles to follow along Puna Road and Dobell Drive at 9.45am. A service will follow at Wangi RSL Sub-Branch Club on Watkins Road.

West Wallsend

A service will commence at the grounds of West Wallsend Workers Club on Carrington Street at 9.45am.
