Our commitment to safety

We are dedicated to ensuring that our shared paths are safe and enjoyable for everyone, including pedestrians, cyclists, and other path users. We recognise that the presence of motorbikes on these paths can pose challenges and concerns for our community.

Reporting motorbike incidents

If you encounter a motorbike on a shared path, we encourage you to report the incident to us. Our process involves forwarding all requests for action to the NSW Police, who are responsible for enforcing laws regarding motor vehicle use on public land. Your reports play a crucial role in helping us address this issue effectively.

Exploring monitoring technology

In addition to working closely with law enforcement, we are actively investigating innovative monitoring technology to enhance safety on our shared paths. This technology will help us better understand the patterns of use on these paths and identify any violations that may occur. By implementing advanced monitoring solutions, we aim to improve our response to motorbike incidents and ensure a safer environment for all users.

How you can help

We appreciate the community’s involvement in keeping our shared paths safe. If you see motorbikes using these paths inappropriately, please report it to us, and we will take the necessary action. Together, we can create a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone.
