Notification of deceased property owner

We recognise the passing of a loved one is a difficult time for all involved.

Providing a copy of the death certificate when a loved one passes away allows us to update the mailing address of rates notices to "Estate of the Late" for future correspondence.

If you wish to remove a name on your title deed for your property, you must first change your title deeds with the NSW Land Registry Services. Information about how you can change the title deed can be provided by NSW Land Register Services or a solicitor.

For further information about what you might need to do after someone has passes away, please visit NSW Land Registry Services.

To redirect all correspondence for the deceased Estate, you will need to apply for a change of postal address.
