Home library service

Our Home Library Service team members are enthusiastic about making a difference and creating opportunities for residents to stay connected with their community. 

They support individuals who are unable to access our wonderful branch libraries and empower them to enjoy our collections, delivering library materials to their homes and assisting them with accessing online library services and digital resources. These resources range from standard and large print books, audiobooks, music, films, television series and magazines.

Home Library Service Volunteers:

  • Responsible for driving locally to deliver and collect books and other library materials as selected by the Home Library Service Team
  • Document and share customers’ feedback to improve service 
  • Support and educate Home Library Service customers, providing relevant information or mentorship to access our resources
  • Provide excellent service with patience and understanding.
