You're Kidding Me

The You're Kidding Me program is designed to improve accessibility to health, education and family services for kids by connecting Lake Macquarie families to valuable information about local services that support the learning and development of young children.

Family meet up events will be held on the last Friday of each month during 2025, at Windale Hub, bilyabayi, 20 Lake St, Windale and are free to attend.

The program includes the annual You're Kidding Me Expo, which brings together children and family services from all across the City and the Hunter Region. Attendees can discover a variety of programs, resources and services that Lake Macquarie parents and families can access. 

The 2025 Expo will be held daily, 9am-1pm, at Charlestown Square Centre Court (Level 1, outside Myer), from Monday 2 June - Friday 6 June.

The program links to our Children and Family Strategy, which outlines the key focal areas Council has identified as important and viable in achieving a City that celebrates, promotes and cares for the lives of children and families.
