Lake Mac's Sustainable School's Program offers our local schools free workshops, resources and other opportunities, including the annual School Environment Awards. The program is designed to build environmental sustainability in our school communities.

School Environment Awards

The annual School Environment Awards showcase and recognise the innovative and inspiring sustainability projects happening at schools all around Lake Macquarie

Sustainable Schools workshops

We can visit your primary or secondary school to deliver workshops to students on a range of topics including waste education, composting tours, our natural environment and cycling skills

Community Environment Grants

The Lake Mac Community Environment Grants Program is designed to support community-initiated projects that improve our local environment and inspire environmentally sustainable behaviour in Lake Macquarie City.
