Council is committed to enhancing the quality of life for families and children across our community. Our Children and Families Strategy aims to create a supportive environment that nurtures the wellbeing and development of our youngest residents.
Emphasising collaboration with local agencies and stakeholders, the strategy identifies key priorities such as accessible childcare, inclusive recreational facilities, and educational support services.
We invite feedback from all community members, whether parents or not, to ensure our strategy reflects the diverse needs of families in Lake Macquarie.
Your input will guide our efforts to strengthen community connections, improve service accessibility, and create environments where children can thrive.
