A basic introduction to technology for total beginners.


This 4-week course will cover using tablets and smartphone, cyber safety, using the Internet. You can work from your phone or tablet.

Please note there is no need to print your tickets off for this event, the staff can provide electronic check upon entry.

Parking and venue information

Toronto Library, located on the corner of Brighton Ave & Pemell St, has a public carpark adjacent to the building with accessible parking available that provides access via a ramp to the library. The venue has accessible toilets outside the facility. The library can be accessed by public buses.

About Tech Savvy Seniors

Tech Savvy Seniors NSW is a partnership between the NSW Government, the State Library of NSW and Telstra. The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services or conducting personal business. Training is fun and hands-on, and includes basic introductory courses on using computers, tablets, smart phones, the internet, email and social media.
