NCEATA - Stitch In

As a part of Craft Week 2024, the NCEATA members will be hosting a 'Stitch-in' at Charlestown Library on Saturday October 12th from 10am-12pm.

The purpose of the Stitch-In is to provide a place for people to come, sit, stitch, and chat with members in a relaxed and informal environment

About NCEATA

NCEATA was first formed in Newcastle over forty years ago. Newcastle Creative Embroiderers and Textile Artists have been bringing together dynamic textile artists of all skill levels to share, learn and network. NCEATA meet twice a month in Adamstown to chat and stitch. NCEATA will also be appearing for 'stitch-ins' at Charlestown Library throughout October, and will be showing their yearly exhibition of works from October as part of the Launchpad@Lake Mac Libraries program.

The NCEATA will be hosting other Stitch-In Sessions at Charlestown Library at the following dates:

8th October 1pm-2pm, followed by Opening Afternoon tea 2pm-4pm

12TH November 10am-12pm

9th December 1pm-3pm

Parking Information:

Charlestown Library, located on Smart St has undercover onsite parking with accessible parking available from the public carpark adjacent to the building, that provides direct access via a ramp into the library. The venue has accessible toilets. The library is easily accessed by public buses.
