Junkyard Beats Show

Junkyard Beats delivers an imaginative rhythm show that seamlessly blends drumming, dance, theatre, and comedy, captivating and engaging audiences from start to finish. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, the streets, and the junkyard, they transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The audience then becomes part of a Junk Orchestra. This is an interactive musical experience that turns the audience into a one-of-a-kind sustainable ensemble. Using recycled materials, each participant receives a unique instrument, working together to create an energetic, rhythmic sound inspired by hip-hop, percussion, and other musical styles.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adult tickets at Children's price.

General Admission (Adults and Children): $15 plus booking fee.

Lake Mac Arts Members: $13.50 plus booking fee.

About the Presenters: Junkyard Beats are renowned for their dynamic rhythm shows. They present a series of high-energy routines that include drumming, body percussion, dance, junk percussion, circus and hilarious skits. Their family friendly show draws on inspiration from everyday life, the streets and the junkyard. It is filled with imagination, humour and a lot of rhythm.

About the venue: Rathmines Theatre can be accessed via a ramp at the side of the building and flat entry once inside the building. The venue has accessible toilets and accessible parking is available out the front of the building adjacent to the ramp.
