Winter can be a challenging time for parents and caregivers navigating children’s illnesses. Join Ilana, a Paediatric Nurse Consultant with over 13 years of experience, to gain confidence in recognising red flags, managing sick children, making informed decisions, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
Her workshops blend sickness recognition with essential emergency skills, including CPR and managing a choking child, providing the perfect combination to help you feel confident in the muddy and murky areas of childhood illness. Learn how to act in emergencies and feel confident, empowered to make informed decisions when it comes to sickness.
More about the presenter:
The Sick Sense offers the innovative Squadrons Program for preschool-aged children, fostering health literacy by passing essential knowledge from adults to children while building strong foundations that grow from children to adults. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, the program empowers young learners with vital insights into hygiene, health, and safety, while encouraging caregivers to reinforce these principles at home. By bridging the gap between child and adult education, The Sick Sense creates confident, informed families equipped to handle health challenges together.
