About the Artist

Goya Torres is a visual/street-artist and muralist living and working in Lake Macquarie, originally from Mexico. Her practice moves towards blurring the separation line between fine arts, street-art and illustration in order to develop a visual contemporary language that encapsulates reality nowadays. She has been involved in group exhibitions, live-painting events, street-art festivals, mural and public art projects internationally around Australia, Mexico, Latino-America, USA, United Kingdom and Europe. She has painted over 30 murals from 25 meters long to 8 meters high.
