Catapult: Duel

This original new work promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of gender, identity, and societal norms through the medium of contemporary dance and dance theatre. A duel between the body and gendered societal norms

"Duel" will take place in an intimate, in-the-round setting, allowing the audience to be in close proximity to the performers. This will enhance the engagement and immersion for the audience as they witness a powerful physical dialogue between two bodies, performed three times.

At its core, "Duel" seeks to deconstruct societal conventions of gender. It aims to challenge preconceived notions and expectations related to masculinity and femininity through abstract movement and contrasting forms.
