The voices of sexual violence survivors will once again be heard loud and clear at the Reclaim the Night event at Warners Bay foreshore this October.
This global movement, aimed at empowering women and reclaiming the streets at night, will take place from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Friday 25 October, along the scenic Warners Bay Foreshore.
The event promises live entertainment, face painting, and access to crucial support services. It will create a safe and welcoming environment for conversations about consent and working together to create safer streets for women and children.
Join us for a free, family-friendly event featuring live music by Teasha and Mari, a BBQ hosted by Warners Bay Girl Guides, giveaways, lawn games, and a powerful march for safer streets.
Australia’s first Reclaim the Night rally was held in 1978 and continues as an annual event, demanding an acceptable response to violence against women in our community and worldwide.
