See the second world war through an artist’s eyes. Max Dupain photographed RAAF Rathmines and the Australian experience of the second world war while serving as a camouflage officer. Discover Dupain’s little known wartime work in this original Rathmines Heritage Centre exhibition.
The exhibition will re-open as part of the History Illuminated Festival, from 2 November 2024.
Rathmines Heritage Centre is open every Saturday and Sunday, 10am-2pm.
Located within the beautiful Rathmines Theatre, come and grab a coffee from Mandy & Co. onsite coffee van and peruse Max Dupain’s Art & War exhibition.
Please note the exhibition will be closed between 21-29 December 2024, reopening Saturday 4 January 2025.
