Get your hands dirty with this interactive workshop, learning how to make your own seed balls to generate pollinator plant growth in your garden.

Sea turtles, flying foxes and koalas in Lake Mac with Hunter Wildlife Rescue

Learn about some of the previous native wildlife that call Lake Mac home and how to best support and protect these species.

Learn about the importance of tree hollows for our wildlife and the new ways of creating habitat for hollow dependent wildlife.

A look at flying-foxes with Matthew Mo

Flying-foxes are a part of nature. You might know them from a colony near you, or a night-time visitor of trees in your garden. Find out more about this bat and how it makes a life sustaining our Australian bush. 

2pm DIY native bee hotel with Australian Native Bee Association

An introduction to native bees in the Hunter and hands on workshop where you can make a native bee hotel to take home for your garden.
