Fernleigh 15

The Fernleigh 15 is a recreational running event for serious or novice runners, walkers or wheelchair participants staged on the Fernleigh Track from Adamstown in Newcastle to Belmont in Lake Macquarie.

The Fernleigh Track was formerly a train line and has been reactivated for runners, walkers and cyclists over a 15km track that traverses the lush backyards and forest environment of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Run the 15km as slow.... or fast as you like, and make sure you get the kids involved in the Fernleigh 1500, which is a new 1500m run at the end. This event is a celebration of healthy lifestyles, community, and the successful transformation of public space.
