Lake Macquarie City Councillors play a significant role in our city and Council.
Council is hosting three information seminars for people who may be interested in nominating for election to become a Councillor. The sessions will provide information to assist in understanding the roles and responsibilities of Council, what it's like to be a Councillor for Lake Macquarie City, and an introduction to rules and processes for registering as a candidate.
The session will be hosted by Jenny Dowell from Local Government and Lake Macquarie City Council Chief Executive Officer, Morven Cameron.
There will be plenty of time for questions.
