Enjoy a paddle along Stony Creek and see the creek from a different perspective. This is a longer paddle along Stony Creek, where you can connect with marine and wetland environments. Geared towards 'paddle-fit' humans, the session kicks off with instructions and safety briefing from the experts at School of Yak.

Important: you must be able to swim to participate in this activity.

  • This activity has been subsidised by Lake Macquarie City Council.
  • This event is for ages 10+ years. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must have kayaking experience and be prepared for a longer paddle.
  • All attendees at the event require a ticket.
  • Wear sun smart clothing, hat and sunscreen.
  • Bring a water bottle. Snacks (nut-free) are optional.
  • This is an on-water activity. Bring a waterproof case/bag for possessions you will take with you.

To complete your booking, please answer the question on the order page acknowledging you have read and agree to Council’s activity disclaimer and waiver.

Meet north of Fennell Bay Playground, close to the bridge. Car parking is available on site.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Council reserves the right to cancel the event if deemed unsafe - you will be notified if this action is necessary and a full refund provided.

Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Lake Mac Council.
