You can apply for a Construction Certificate with your Development Application or after it has been approved. An approved Construction Certificate is required before starting construction and can be issued by Council or a private certifier.
A Construction Certificate ensures your design and construction materials comply with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.

Lodgement fees will be calculated by Council staff and provided to you in writing after we've received your application for a Construction Certificate.
Your Construction Certificate will not be issued until all outstanding fees have been paid.
