Application to operate an amusement device

If you're planning to operate an amusement device, and your device is registered under NSW Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001, you'll need approval from Council.

Step 1.Gather your documents

Applications to operate an amusement device must be accompanied by:

  • a site plan showing the proposed location of the amusement device(s)
  • a copy of the SafeWork NSW registration certificate for each amusement device
  • a copy of the liability insurance cover or Certificate of Currency showing a minimum $10 million indemnity for each amusement device

Step 2.Apply

Once you have all the required documentation, you're ready to apply. You'll need to upload electronic versions of the required documentation in order to complete your application. A fee is payable on application.

Step 2.Visit us

Visit our Customer Service Centre, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, where our staff can assist you with submitting your application online. You'll need to bring along the required documentation, preferably on a USB drive, in order to complete your application. A fee is payable on application.
