The Hunter Arts Network, better known as HAN, is a non-profit incorporated membership of artisans from the Hunter. Rising from the idea that Newcastle and the Hunter are full of creative people producing high quality art, craft and design-based work.
HAN now works via a committee and sub committees to continually strive to improve activities of HAN and to ensure the shape and structure of HAN is relevant. HAN was incorporated in December 2005 and launched in February 2006 at the Newcastle Region Art Gallery.
HAN strives to facilitate the opportunities for promotion of member’s & their work through Art Bazaar, social media, our newsletter, blog and artist page on the Hunter Arts Network website.
