The ART LOVERS MOVEMENT INC is a friendly art group welcoming members and visitors to our meetings on the first Thursday* of the month from February through to November at Cooranbong Community Services Centre. Following our meeting we have very accomplished and professional artists demonstrating in various art mediums from Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and other areas in Australia, followed by their workshop.
ALM has an extensive library of art books and DVD’s and USB sticks of guest artists’ demonstrations to borrow for a small fee.
Hours:
*Meeting is at 9.30 am for 10.00 am start followed by guest artist’s demonstration at approx. 10.15am then we break for lunch (bring your own) at 11.40am followed by the artist’s workshop at 12.30pm, terminating between 2.30 and 3.00pm.
A small joining fee applies and includes the opportunity for members to exhibit/sell their artwork at ALM’s annual Show & Sale usually in March as well as other exhibitions throughout the year for a nominal fee.
We welcome members and visitors – no booking required.
