Are there any time limits relating to mooring of vessels to public jetties and wharves?
Response:

Yes, all public jetties and wharves on the lake have mooring time limit restrictions.  Most of the structures have a 2 hour time limit, with the added requirement (relating to maritime legislation) that any vessel tied to a public jetty or wharf is to be manned by a competent person at all times.  This is to ensure that the vessel can be moved to make way for other vessels that need to access the jetty or wharf.  Time limits are clearly signposted, and any alterations to the 2 hour time limit are clearly indicated on or near the structure.
