Eco Angel

The Eco Angel Program is designed to help schools, community groups, businesses and individuals come together and keep Lake Macquarie clean all year round.

We will help by:

  • Promoting your event and encouraging others to volunteer
  • Providing a free clean-up kit including litter bags, gloves, merchandise and appropriate paperwork
  • Collecting and disposing of waste from the clean up

Register to clean up a site

Step 1.Get your group together

Any school, community group, business, sporting group or charity can organise a clean up

Step 2.Choose your location

Pick a spot in Lake Macquarie that could do with a clean up

Step 3.Register

Register your site at least four weeks prior to your planed clean-up event. Then we'll get in touch to arrange the rest.

Become an Eco Angel supporter

Businesses can show support for their community and the Eco Angel program by:

  • Donating staff time to a clean-up event
  • Providing an in-kind donation
  • Putting on a barbecue or morning tea for a clean-up group
  • rewarding volunteers with a voucher or gift
