Last week, Council adopted a revised Local Environmental Plan (LEP) following a three-month public exhibition late last year. You may have read or heard that some of the boating community have expressed concerns and fears in relation to the zoning that will apply to the Lake. I want to assure the wider community that the zoning we have adopted will not change what is currently permitted on the Lake, including jetties, boat launching ramps, moorings, charter and tourism boating facilities, wharfs and marinas.
